Mediline™ System

PMCare processed over 3.8 million medical claims worth of RM1.02 billion in year 2013. From this amount, the value of medical claims transacted online via our Mediline™ in year 2013 was more than RM262.6 million. When it started in early 2000, it was less than RM5 million medical claims transacted online on that year with less than 300 GP clinics. The average number of GP clinics that have submitted their medical claims to us have increased from 1,500 in year 2006 to 2,200 in year 2011. As of now, there are 2,539 GP clinics submit online to us their medical claims.

PMCare processed over 3.8 million medical claims worth of RM1.02 billion in year 2013. For the first half of year 2013, PMCare has already processed more than 2.1 million medical claims worth more than RM498 million

With increase number in our Members, we expect more medical claims will be transacted through the Mediline™ for this year. Until June this year, we have processed more than 1.3 million medical claims amounting to RM138 million from 2,539 GP clinics. It is estimated that the value of medical claims to be transacted online via Mediline™ for the whole year of 2013 in the region of 2.9 million medical claims worth of more than RM262 million.

Mediline™ is a web-based application system designed and created by PMCare to facilitate and assist our panel GP clinics to verify and validate members, submit medical claims on-line, generate medical summary report which are also being used as invoices by the GP clinics, and to reconcile the invoices against the detailed listing of payment advice for the payments made to the GP clinics. Almost 70% of Mediline™ users are GP clinics located in Selangor, Kuala Lumpur, Perak, Penang and Johor.
